Behind the Scenes

The Curation Process

Crafting an archival corporate monograph requires meticulous historical research, extensive interviews, and custom publication design. We divide each commission into four transparent phases:

01
Phase 1 • Weeks 1–4

Intake & Strategy

We assign a designated corporate biographer, align on the thematic scope, map out the historical chapters, and execute a formal bilateral NDA.

02
Phase 2 • Weeks 5–12

Oral History & Archiving

Conducting up to 40 hours of recorded interviews with key founders, board members, and executives while digitizing letters, blueprints, and historic ledgers.

03
Phase 3 • Weeks 13–20

Writing & Composition

Drafting the narrative, validating facts with our archivist team, executing two rounds of revisions, and layout typesetting in traditional serif fonts.

04
Phase 4 • Weeks 21–28

Binding & Presentation

Traditional Smyth-sewn paper stitching, wrapping the hand-made boards in calfskin leather or library linen, gold leaf engraving, and custom slipcase delivery.

Cinematic 4K Capture

Filmed on cinema-grade cameras with three-point studio lighting, capturing every gesture, emotion, and historical nuance in archival resolution.

Archival Photo Animation

Our editors animate historical blueprints, family albums, and corporate records using 2.5D parallax and elegant kinetic text overlays.

Bespoke Musical Score

Composed and licensed specifically for your film. We draft soundscapes that match the mood, triumphs, and timeline of your company.

Admissions Policy

A Curation Registry,
Not a Production Line

To maintain absolute historical accuracy and museum-grade hand-binding standards, Imprint Legacy accepts exactly four (4) corporate commissions per fiscal quarter. We review applicants strictly against our intake guidelines:

1. Operational Heritage

We prioritize enterprises with 20+ years of operating history, or family offices that have successfully transitioned across at least two generations.

2. Strategic Milestones

We look for projects timed alongside transitional events—such as IPO preparations, centennials, founder retirements, or leadership successions.

3. Direct Executive Access

The primary subject or leadership team must commit 10 to 40 hours for oral history capture. We do not write biographies from public domain sources alone.

How the Commission Invitation Works

  1. Registry Intake: Submit your organization details, key milestones, and preferred upgrade options (e.g. Cinematic Documentary) through our `/apply` portal.
  2. Initial Feasibility: Our Creative Director reviews the application for archive availability and milestones. We schedule a 30-minute strategic consultation.
  3. Bilateral NDA & Proposal: We execute a formal mutual NDA prior to issuing a detailed project proposal, chapter outline, and milestone contract.
Investment Registry

Bespoke Publishing Commissions
Begin at ₹75,000

An heirloom commission is a permanent investment in brand capital—costing less than a single month of a premium PR retainer or a fraction of corporate gifting budgets, while preserving your leadership legacy and stakeholder trust for over two centuries.

Strictly by review. Not all applications will be accepted.
